SIA Static and Patrol Guarding
To work within the retail security industry, an individual must have undergone a structured programme of training as specified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
Static Guard Course Information
Training Course Cost: £175 + VAT (upto 5 candidates), £150 + VAT (6 or more)
Duration: 4 Day Programme
Assessment: 2 Multiple Choice examinations
Accredited: SQA / QCA / NOCN / EDEXCEL

After completion, the candidate may want to enter the SIA Door Supervision or CCTV (PSS) course
Static Guarding
This nationally accredited course is aimed at anyone who wishes to work as a Security Officer within the Retail Guarding, Static Guarding & Patrol Guarding security areas.
This course will ensure that you have the knowledge and skills needed to deal with common situations that arise within this type of work and the methods of dealing with situations within the parameters of the law.
The training is split over 4 days and covers the following topics:

Achievements
Successful candidates will be awarded an NOCN Level 2 Award in Security Guarding certificate.
