SIA Retail Guarding
To work within the retail security industry, an individual must have undergone a structured programme of training as specified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
Retail Guarding Course Information
Training Course Cost: £175 + VAT (upto 5 candidates), £150 + VAT (6 or more)
Duration: 4 Day Programme
Assessment: 2 Multiple Choice examinations
Accredited: NOCN / EDEXCEL

After completion, the candidate may want to enter the Level 2 Award Door Supervision or CCTV (PSS) course
Retail Security Officer
The course is aimed at anyone who wishes to work as a Security Officer within the retail security area, such as shopping centres, malls or retail parks.
This course will ensure that you have the knowledge and skills needed to deal with common situations that arise within this type of work and the methods of dealing with situations within the parameters of the law.
The training is split over 4 days and covers the following topics:
